The Prison

The fourth season of The Walking Dead begins with the survivors settling into life at the prison. Rick, Daryl, and Hershel try to establish order and build a community in the midst of the chaos of the zombie apocalypse. However, tensions rise as a deadly virus infects several members of the group, leading to a devastating loss.

The Governor Returns

As the survivors struggle to deal with the virus outbreak, they are also forced to confront the return of an old enemy: the Governor. After his attack on the prison in the previous season, the Governor has regrouped with a new group of survivors and is determined to take the prison for himself. This leads to a brutal showdown between the two groups, with some major casualties on both sides.

New Allies and New Dangers

Following the battle with the Governor, the survivors are forced to leave the prison and once again hit the road. Along the way, they encounter several new allies, including a group of survivors who have taken refuge in a train car. However, they also face new dangers, including a group of cannibals who are hunting other survivors for food. The season ends with the group arriving at a new safe haven, but the revelation that one of their own has been kidnapped by a mysterious group.
